We used Atherton's Construction from beginning to end, some good practical ideas and advice to an excellent finish. Our home needed entire modernisation from insulation, renewing electrics, new heating and bathrooms to a bright kitchen extension. An old property needed a sympathetic eye, working with it's character but providing modern features. Atherton's quality of work lived up to expectation, in addition they are an easy team to work with, very organised, a tidy site and very considerate to us and our neighbours. In 2016 Atherton's construction began a large scale renovation of our 150 year old brick and flint barn. This was no mean feat as there was not a straight wall anywhere in the house. Richard and his team worked tirelessly through rain, hail, snow, heat waves and more to deliver an absolutely superb finish. From a dark and dingy 80s disaster we now have a light, airy, beautiful space. We couldn't be more thrilled with our finished house. The team's attention to detail and skilled craftsmanship means that the finish on every surface in every room is to the highest standard. They managed to marry modern building features and finishes seamlessly to ancient materials and structures. We would certainly recommend Atherton's construction to other home owners looking for a professional, skilled team.
